AMEDD Museum Foundation Announces Receipt of $480,000 Capital Campaign Grant – September 2020

The AMEDD Museum Foundation is proud to announce the receipt of an extraordinary grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). The grant, valued at $480,000, was received in August based on a grant application made by the Foundation staff earlier this year. Foundation says Farewell to Samantha Popejoy

On 3 May 2019, the Foundation bade a fond farewell to Grant Writer, Samantha Popejoy at the Quarterly Board meeting. Beginning her work at the Museum as a Graduate Intern in Museum Science, Samantha quickly made herself at home getting to know the staff and the Museum. Foundation establishes COL Basil Pruitt and COL Beth LaNoue Memorial Funds – 2 April 2019

The recent passing of COL(Ret) Basil Pruitt, Jr and COL (Ret) Beth LaNoue inspired the AMEDD Museum Foundation executive committee to establish memorial funds in honor of them both.
