On Friday, 28 October, the Museum Foundation hosted breakfast for 60 candidates, cadre, chain of command, and family members to mark the completion of the 2016 Army Best Medic Competition. As part of the 2016 Best Medic Competition’s culminating events on Friday, 28 October, local volunteers brought medical history to life on the Museum grounds. Best Medic attendees and Museum visitors were delighted to interact with Civil War corpsmen and surgeons, a WWI nurse, and a WWII medic. The Army Medical Museum Foundation Board of Directors held their quarterly meeting on Friday, 28 October 2016 at the Museum with BG (Ret) Dan Perugini, Foundation Chairman presiding.
